This is the story of a virtual dog, Arnold, as he interacts with your real environment in augmented reality. ARnold was developed for the Microsoft Hololens, and has now been reformatted and ported to ARKit.
As a producer, I oversaw the user experience, storytelling narrative, and marketing. In addition, I spearheaded a marketing promo video that reached 7.8K organically.
ARnold won first place at the VRSC Student Festival at USC in the Augmented Reality Division.
Within the VR Journalism group (JoVRnalim), I produced the story about toxic dust at the Salton Sea in collaboration with the Desert Sun publication (USA Today).
After conceptualizing the narrative, we conducted interviews, filmed 360 videos, and edited them into final stories.
We won the international journalism award at the Online News Association Conference and Awards Banquet in 2017.
Showrunner and Executive Producer of the music show, Soundstage, broadcasted live weekly.
Other than the “big picture” work of a showrunner, I delegated the production team, booked talent, and continued to push the boundaries of the show with Facebook Live, Instagram Stories, 360 video, and other forms of distribution.
During the Fall 2017 Trojan Vision banquet, we won the award for Best Weekly Show.
